Elizabeth of Wiltshire was delighted to spot Vintage 1960s Simplicity Sewing Pattern S1012 on our website, as she had made that very design back in 1965! The photo shows Elizabeth wearing the dress made with colour block panels.
The letter reads:
"Dear WeaverDee
Just a note to say I am delighted to have found your website, and even more delighted to have found this one - Simplicity S1012.
It was one of my favourite dresses and I enclose a photo of myself in it which I made when living in Zambia.
This photo was taken in 1965 - Not a good camera!
Don't have much time for sewing now I have a disabled husband of 88, but still have a great interest, so will keep looking.
